Chamber Luncheon

     Our Chamber’s mission, like many Chambers, is to promote business in our local economy. Throughout the year, the chamber focuses its efforts to highlight our city and its businesses.  One of the ways the Chamber accomplishes this is through the chamber website, as well as through the many festivals, luncheons, rodeos, street dances, special events, and ribbon cuttings sponsored throughout the year.  On a daily basis, the Chamber office promotes this community through its interaction with the many people who inquire about Bridgeport and its businesses via phone calls, emails, or personal visits.   

      During the past year, the Bridgeport Area Chamber of Commerce initiated two new projects which have a positive impact on the community.  The first of these projects is the PRCA Rodeo which will be held for the 2^nd time in May.  The second of these projects is the Chamber’s involvement in helping to purchase an authentic replica of a Concord Stagecoach for the city of Bridgeport.  Both of these projects help to highlight the history of our community while at the same time promoting tourism in our area.

     As you can see, the Bridgeport Area Chamber of Commerce has been working hard to fulfill its mission to promote our local economy.  Our board of directors, past presidents, and executive director have all contributed to carrying out this mission, and I challenge each member to participate more in the coming year.  As we all work together, we can be assured a bright future for our city.  It is a privilege for me to share in that future.
